A few days ago, he came in first out of 205 players and was happy to receive $1,000 in prize money, but it was only for a moment Yesterday, he was upset that he'd lost and only made $140. He started with zero money, so it wasn't a big deal, but losing seemed to be stressful for him. He was writing something like a ledger in a notebook. He was muttering that he needed to study more about poker. In college, he seems to have made some friends to eat lunch with (As usual, my second son brings his own rice balls, and his friends buy their lunches from the co-op) Many of his friends seem to have goals and are working hard, so my second son is inspired by them, and it's pretty good. In the end, he couldn't find a club he wanted to join, so he didn't join. I talked to a friend who is in a club, and he said that although they weren't forced to drink at drinking parties, there was pressure to drink. He said, "I don't like that kind of atmosphere." Well, you don't have to force yourself to join a club. For now, his extracurricular activities are probably amusement casinos (lol). He said that it's fun because you can talk to people you would never have a chance to talk to normally. "I think I'm suited to playing poker with everyone." He seems to be taking a break from serious poker (online) for a while. "Gambling is scary, but I'm glad I found out about it at this age." My eldest son, who has Crohn's disease, finally got a shot of Humira late last night. I wonder when he'll be able to manage himself.
